Overview

CAP's Programmer/Analyst is responsible for the performance of systems analysis, application development, programming and user training connected with the development, maintenance, and the optimization of the organization’s automated data processing functions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative solutions across a range of business processes. The Base pay range is $65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform analytical studies on proposed systems and system enhancements. Consult with users to evaluate requests, identify current operating procedures, clarify program objectives, and gather complete specifications for approved systems projects prior to development. Analyze new project specifications, collaborate with requestors to understand business processes, and ensure successful implementation and delivery of functional products based on predefined schedules. Complete the development of approved systems projects from design through coding, testing, implementation, documentation, and end-user training. Develop, test, and maintain in-house applications using .NET (C#), Angular, and related frameworks, including front-end interfaces. Utilize APIs to integrate with external vendors. Design, develop, and optimize database procedures, queries, and views in Oracle and SQL Server. Develop and maintain business reports using Crystal Reports and Telerik Reports. Maintain and enhance automation processes and workflows using UiPath. Provide ongoing technical support, user training, and assistance as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs, prioritizing critical issues requiring immediate focus. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices; assist with upgrades to the latest versions of frameworks and tools. Serve as a technical consultant by evaluating new product offerings, training with other programmers, and recommending future software and hardware directions to IS Management. Perform other duties as directed. Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of full-stack programming experience Proficiency in enterprise web application programming with: Experience with Oracle and SQL Server, including relational database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures (Java and PL/SQL) Experience with Salesforce development and customization (Apex, Lightning Web Components), a plus Familiarity with automation and AI tools, including UiPath, OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot. Knowledge of DevOps processes and version control systems (e.g., Git) Other Skills and Abilities
