Quality, efficiency, and safety all play a big role in our work at Danone. Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for the Supply Chain team. We are currently hiring a Master Data Analytics Manager based in White Plains, NY, Louisville, CO or remotely.
This position is for a Master Data Architect/Engineer who will build and maintain Danone’s Business Intelligence Analytical Warehouse. The analytical data warehouse will support Operations functions and reporting needs. This role designs and implements the database model, develops a robust star schema, hierarchy reference tables and coordinates data from source systems to populate the model, feeding highly synced interactive dashboards for internal cross-functional partners.
What You Will Do
Design and build a functional analytical warehouse in Snowflake/Databricks or other data platform to support Danone’s analytical initiatives.
Engage with cross-functional leaders for data builds and reporting needs; guide non-technical consumers in development specs criteria and engagement for analytical business consumption.
Help drive strategic and tactical discussions leveraging SAP and other data sources.
Create ETL dataflows in SQL or Alteryx Designer and manage the ETL load schedule.
Build interactive, engaging Power BI reports and dashboards that facilitate data discovery and indicate further areas of analysis.
Query data out of SAP into the Snowflake/Databricks/ SQL Server data warehouse.
Enhance SAP data through ingestion and blending of internal and external third-party data for complementary analysis (customer data, transportation data, other 3rd party). Data may come from Oracle, IBM DB2, flat files, or external providers.
Execute and maintain Danone’s data processing activities including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting metrics and develop snapshot logic for history and trend analysis.
Perform special projects and analyses as required.
Identify and automate new reporting functions to reduce manual efforts (SQL).
Engage in debugging and break-fixes related to above activities.
Maintain a healthy ecosystem for efficient and timely updates and refreshes (daily).
Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience. About You Qualifications You Must Have
Requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Ability to interact across a cross-functional organization and adapt messaging to audiences’ technical skill levels.
5+ years analyzing data and running reports (Power BI or Tableau).
5+ years’ experience with programming (SQL or Python).
5+ years’ experience with ETL technologies (SSIS or Alteryx).
5+ years’ experience managing database objects (DDL).
Ideally experience with Snowflake & Databricks, Delta Lake & Databricks SQL Warehouse.
