Completes the quality checks and execution of day-to-day VDC project deliverables and processes Communicates with internal and external project teams; facilitates meetings to resolve project issues, review schedules, or other project documentation Assigns responsible party(s) for issue resolution; verifies and documents with meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs, and updated models Utilizes 3D design software to identify, communicate, and resolve project challenges Utilizes Reality Capture technology, such as laser scanning and drones, to support project deliverables Combines all building discipline models into coordination model Reviews the coordination model for constructability issues utilizing the software’s clash detection capabilities Participates in Business Unit (BU) office and department activities including the orientation program, training sessions, and peer group meetings Supports 1-3 VDC deliverables under supervision Experience/Education
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or related field 1-3 years of VDC Coordination experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong problem-solving skills Strong time-management and analytical skills Strong knowledge and proficiency with BIM design software (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, In-design) Basic understanding of construction documentation Knowledge of construction systems Receptive and inquisitive about design concepts and integrated building components and systems Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Knowledge of Baseline and Enterprise VDC standards Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For Orlando, FL this ranges from $75,600.00 - $104,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program. Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
