We’re looking for a driven Project Engineer to help shape the future of Water Conveyance & Distribution in North Texas. You’ll dive into designing, modeling and master planning for public clients, and work to develop technical solutions for challenging public works designs to service our communities, bringing technical know-how, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for building strong relationships. Job Summary

Project Engineer leads and coordinates the engineering design and evaluation processing during all phases of specific managed projects, from concept, through design to execution. Is the point of contact for client relations. Job Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, including design development, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. Lead project execution, coordinate engineers, designers, and sub-consultants, and support bid/construction phases. Build and maintain client relationships; attend meetings as needed (day or evening). Monitor project finances, adjust work plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Apply regulatory codes and use design software to prepare plans and documentation. Uphold quality standards in line with QA/QC guidelines. Visit construction sites to track progress and meet contract requirements. Mentor junior staff and share technical expertise. Maintain and grow professional competence through ongoing learning and problem-solving. Requirements

Bachelor\'s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university 6+ years’ experience in the field or a related area Valid driver’s license To understand the concepts of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, including system layouts and components Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc.
