at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Newborn Nursery. We are comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. Position Highlights

Primary responsibilities : The physician faculty member will provide care for normal newborns in our newborn nursery at FMLH, neonates with transient medical problems in our special care nursery at FMLH, and as needed in our high-risk newborn follow up clinic at Children’s Wisconsin. The provider will make daily rounds, including weekends, and perform exams, provide ongoing care needed for the newborn and discharge the infants when ready. The responsibility will include education of families in newborn care and arranging follow up with the primary care provider before discharge of the infant. Newborn care will be shared with other faculty members in the newborn nursery. Developmental exams for infants in the high-risk newborn follow up clinic with other team members. As needed, the clinic rotation will be shared with other providers. Clinical 90% / Academic 10% High-level overview of patient population: The newborn nursery is a part of the Perinatal center at FMLH with 4500 deliveries per year. Infants are placed with their mothers or in the special care nursery. Daily census can range from 15 to 40. Skills and procedures: Required or preferred skills and procedures. Team dynamic: Currently 4 full-time faculty members in the nursery provide care for these infants and will share rotations with the new faculty member. The faculty supervise pediatric residents, Neonatology and hospital medicine fellows and collaborate with the NICU team for the care provided. Locations: Froedtert Newborn Nursery and, when needed, high-risk newborn follow up clinic Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate. Schedule

Our Neonatology section has 38 faculty members, including 30 Neonatologists, 5 pediatricians and 3 basic science faculty members. Our section oversees programs at Children’s Wisconsin and FMLH, as well as Froedtert West Bend, CW-Fox Valley in Neenah, WI, and starting October 1, 2025 at Bellin in Green Bay, WI. Qualifications

Medical/Doctoral degree (MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Board certified pediatrician State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
