The MCAAD is opening a new visitor center in Washington, DC, focusing on the American Dream's pillars: education, health, finance, and entrepreneurship. The center will feature exhibitions, immersive galleries, a theater, and more, opening in 2025. Position Overview
We seek friendly, professional Gallery Guides to enhance visitor experience, facilitate engagement, and support daily operations at the new center. Training will be provided, making this ideal for those new to visitor services or with some experience. Responsibilities
Welcome visitors, provide orientation, and assist with ticketing and security. Facilitate tours, activities, and group visits. Support gallery operations, safety, and maintenance issues. Assist with daily center operations, including opening/closing and event support. Requirements
Enthusiastic, customer-service-oriented, with strong communication skills. Experience in visitor services preferred, internship experience considered. Adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for the mission are essential. Working Conditions
This part-time role requires 24 hours/week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical stamina for standing and moving equipment is necessary. On-site work only. Additional Notes
