Overview
Texas Woman's University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Management – Health Care Administration for the MBA program, beginning August 2025. The position is tenure-track and primarily supports the MBA in Health Care Administration, with potential teaching in the Masters in Health Care Administration (MHA) program. The home campus is Denton, with possible teaching at the Dallas or Houston campuses as needed. The start date is fall 2026. Responsibilities
Teach a variety of Health Care Administration courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Support the MBA in Health Care Administration; potential teaching in the MHA program and HCA-BBA program as needed. Contribute to student mentoring and to fostering diversity within the campus, curriculum, and department. Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Health Care Administration or a related discipline. ABD near completion will be considered. Professional experience in health care administration; MBA is highly desired. Ability to teach courses in health care administration; expertise in healthcare finance, economics, accounting, policy, or regulation is especially encouraged. Campus and Programs
Home location: Denton campus; occasional teaching at Dallas or Houston campuses based on program needs. Additionally, teaching may occur in the HCA-BBA program. How to Apply
