A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Irving, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services throughout the school year, collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to enhance student success and well-being. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student learning and mental health Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide counseling as needed Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations Qualifications
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Texas Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting Proficiency in psychoeducational assessment tools and data interpretation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations Location: Irving, TX Employment type
