Overview

Sr. Manager – Governmental Services (FEMA/Disaster Management & Recovery) at EisnerAmper. Role focuses on leading large-scale disaster recovery programs leveraging FEMA Public Assistance funds, with potential experience in Individual Assistance and/or Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Responsible for business development, client strategy, and leadership of consulting teams to deliver firm objectives. What you will do

Lead large, complex programs implementing major state and community-level post-disaster recovery efforts, including administering FEMA Public Assistance funds. Experience may also include Individual Assistance and/or Hazard Mitigation (404 and 406) funds. Evaluate client needs, recommend project approaches, define engagement scope, oversee activities to complete work and ensure quality of client deliverables. Drive revenue through new and incremental growth of current and prospective clients. Manage the team through all phases of a program: strategic planning, mobilization, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements. Interpret federal regulations and determine methods of project implementation based on knowledge and experience. Actively participate in business development: conferences, RFPs, funding opportunities, teaming, and proposal development. Develop and maintain relationships with governmental entities implementing disaster recovery programs and with other firms offering disaster services. Lead and participate in proposal writing teams and coordinate submissions; develop disaster recovery thought leadership and insights. Identify recovery-related gaps/needs and provide recommendations to maximize program impact. Perform supervisory responsibilities, coach staff, provide performance feedback to Directors and Partners, and conduct annual evaluations. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Safety, Emergency Management, Disaster Management, or related field. 10+ years of disaster recovery, emergency management, and state/local/federal disaster recovery program experience is required. 5+ years in a management or supervisory role. Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, related statutes, regulations, policies, and processes. Preferred or Desired Qualifications

Master’s Degree. 5+ years of consulting, client support and/or business development experience. Certifications such as CEM, AEM, PgMP, PMP are preferred. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to travel and work extended hours as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). About EisnerAmper
