Overview
Responsible for developing and maintaining server-side functionality for a customer-facing reporting portal built on Sitecore. Works closely with front-end developers and stakeholders to integrate data services, optimize performance, ensure security, and support scalable, reliable back-end systems that deliver dynamic reporting features. About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sitecore Developer to join our growing development team. You will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our customer-facing reporting portal with a focus on performance, usability, and integration with enterprise systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in CMS platforms, preferably Sitecore, and thrives in a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain back-end services and APIs for our customer portal. Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences. Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure high-quality, performant, and secure releases. Extend and customize Sitecore CMS features using .NET technologies. Integrate third-party services and internal APIs into the CMS platform. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and maintainability across all environments. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production systems. Maintain documentation for system architecture and custom implementations. Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in back-end development, with at least 2 years working on customer-facing portals. Strong experience with Sitecore CMS (v9.x or 10.x preferred) and Sitecore Helix architecture. Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and RESTful API development. Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and database optimization. Strong knowledge of API integration patterns, microservices, and asynchronous processing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of security best practices in handling customer data and system authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO). Agile development experience using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset. Preferred Qualifications
Sitecore Certification (e.g., Sitecore Certified Developer or Architect). Experience working in Azure or other cloud-based environments. Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Vue.js, HTML/CSS) is a plus. Prior experience in digital product development within enterprise-scale environments. What We’re Looking For
