ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE CLINICAL PROFESSOR of Restorative Clinical Services / UMKC SCHOOL of DENTISTRY Join to apply for the role at University of Missouri-Kansas City. Responsibilities
Provide clinical instruction and oversight for pre-doctoral dental students, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, removable, fixed, and implant prosthodontics, and non-surgical periodontics. Experience in digital dentistry and digital workflows is a plus. Provide didactic and preclinical lab instruction as assigned. Support the School of Dentistry as a model oral health-care education institution, delivering patient care and service in the KC metropolitan area through the public student dental clinic and faculty practice. Workload may be arranged as 4 days of didactic and clinical instruction (32 hours / 0.80 FTE) or 5 days (40 hours / 1.0 FTE) by negotiation; there is potential for ranked promotion. Qualifications
DDS/DMD or equivalent and eligibility for Missouri Licensure is required. Advanced Education in General Dentistry / General Practice Residency training or equivalent is preferred. Employment Details
This is a ranked 12-month, benefit-eligible non-tenure track faculty position. Start date is upon hire, or by negotiation. Compensation & Benefits
