The Financial Systems team within the Accounting organization plays a critical role in enabling and maintaining financial infrastructure. The team is responsible for: Chart of Accounts (COA) strategy and governance Master data management across financial platforms Financial systems enablement and cross-functional integration We are seeking a system-savvy senior accountant with strong ERP experience to support ongoing COA maintenance and optimization efforts in Oracle EDM (Enterprise Data Management) and Oracle Cloud ERP. Primary Responsibilities
Review, validate, and approve Chart of Accounts requests in Oracle EDM Ensure compliance with COA governance policies and procedures Maintain and optimize cross-validation rules in Oracle ERP Lead setup and maintenance of legal entity structures and new companies in Oracle ERP Manage HR and Projects tables related to COA values Provide business support for COA integration with Workday, Chrome River, and CluedIn Deliver training sessions on EDM and COA processes Conduct SOX control reviews and ensure audit readiness Additional Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud General Ledger and related module configuration Quarterly Oracle patch testing and coordinate impact assessments Design, test, and deploy financial reports Serve as liaison between functional teams and I/S to resolve complex system issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Financial Systems department Contribute to cross-training efforts Participate in financial system upgrades, implementations, and data migrations Develop and maintain documentation for COA processes and system configurations Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS) 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a systems-focused role Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or other major ERP systems Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM, especially Enterprise Data Management (EDM), is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Proven experience in financial system implementations, integrations, and/or system upgrades Familiarity with application training tools and automated testing platforms is a plus Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
