Job Description Essential Responsibilities : Research, Analyze, and Review Participation Statements for all releases to markets including Theatrical, Television, and Home Video Audit System results to ensure accuracy and compliance to contractual terms; inquire with business units regarding discrepancies Reconcile General Ledger Trial Balances with Statement Results to ensure accuracy of distribution accounting where required Establish and maintain communication with various departments to obtain required information for statement analysis and issue resolution Monitor steps in Cash Management process to ensure efficiency in pacing and account reconciliations Work with Accounts Payable and Payroll to automate Participations payment processing from internal reporting system to AP/Payroll systems, including payments to agencies and other studios Coordinate with external third parties to validate contractual contact information and setup for statement delivery Collaborate with Directors/Managers to complete department efficiency projects and provide input for system improvements Perform Special Projects as needed Qualifications Basic Qualifications : BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Math Solid knowledge of Excel and SAP; PARIS experience preferred 1+ years of Participation or Entertainment finance experience Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Desired Characteristics : Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional analytical orientation Solid work ethic, initiative and self-motivation, requiring minimal supervision Flexible mindset to take on new challenges outside of the job description Proactive approach to problem solving Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. Benefits : This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other discounts and perks. Salary range: $80,000-95,000. Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview.
