Executive Recruiter | LHH | Accounting & Finance Services
Primary Responsibilities
Manage monthly accounting processes such as labor allocation journal entries, third-party revenue recognition (percentage of completion), fixed asset tracking, and other assigned tasks. Act as the primary lead for one or more processes or projects, operating independently with minimal daily supervision. Oversee cost accounting and maintain comprehensive historical records for land and office building development projects throughout all development phases. Review and maintain the job cost ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure data integrity and compliance with GAAP; identify and resolve discrepancies. Implement and monitor internal controls to detect and address inconsistencies. Track performance against financial expectations and make necessary adjustments. Provide financial decision support to project managers and serve as their main point of contact. Prepare audit documentation as needed. Review PAY invoices, vendor contracts, and change orders to ensure timely payments, accurate coding, and proper recording. Monitor payments against approved budgets and investigate any variances. Manage project budgets and cost estimates within the job cost system. Collaborate with project management to gather and validate cost estimates. Analyze actual costs versus estimates or budgets and follow up on any discrepancies. Deliver timely financial reports to project managers and company leadership. Supervise and guide accounting staff, fostering skill development and career growth. Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain and uphold internal controls and company policies; report any deficiencies to your supervisor. Perform additional duties as assigned.
