Job Details This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI, or our New York Design Office in New York, NY. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
About The Role As Manager, Category Account Sales–Kohl’s Media Network, you will work cross-functionally to drive client strategies and grow advertising partnerships. You will use strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and digital media experience to highlight Kohl's Media Network’s key differentiators in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
Lead the Kohl’s Media Network Go-To-Market sales approach, selling market-leading media strategies and innovative solutions that grow the client's business.
Own relationships with clients and ensure plans deliver on business objectives.
Drive sales across multiple platforms focusing on mid-to-large brands and performance advertisers and their agencies.
Develop strategies to assert control within key client conversations.
Present strategic recommendations based on client objectives, guiding media tactics and creative inputs rooted in category and brand insights and historical media performance.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Challenge clients' perceptions about their business or customer challenges and opportunities.
Act as an expert in ad products.
Manage category sales revenue, set goals, and prioritize across brands and vendors.
Develop deep relationships with key accounts, clients, and external partners.
Create an environment of shared vision, clear objectives, teamwork, recognition, and open communication.
Synthesize data from multiple sources to craft compelling selling stories.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
3-5 years of proven digital media planning, marketing, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of ad serving, ad networks, and the digital media landscape.
Understanding of campaign lifecycle from strategy to execution.
Ability to influence and lead a diverse team.
Strong partnership-building skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
Effective presentation skills.
Sales experience with organizational skills to lead a sales team.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently.
