Sr. Financial Data and Reporting Analyst

Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Data and Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in enhancing financial transparency and operational efficiency through improving existing reporting or developing new reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer rebates and SLA accruals, collections reporting automation, and AR allowance modeling and reporting, while also supporting FP&A, Accounting, and other business units with actionable insights. This is a hybrid role (3 days per week) in our Corporate Headquarters in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities Customer Rebates & SLA Accruals: Track, analyze, and accrue for customer rebates and service-level agreements (SLAs) in accordance with contractual terms. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely recognition of rebate liabilities and SLA penalties. Collections Reporting & Automation: Design, improve, and automate collections dashboards and reports to monitor AR aging, DSO, and collection effectiveness. Identify opportunities to enhance existing reporting or build new tools that support strategic initiatives to improve cash flow. Allowance for Bad Debt Reporting: Lead the development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of models and reporting frameworks to estimate and monitor bad debt allowances in accordance with CECL methodology. Collaborate with Accounting and Risk teams to ensure accurate recognition of credit losses and provide insights into delinquency trends and portfolio risk. Cross-Functional Reporting Support: Partner with FP&A to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Assist Accounting with month-end close reporting and reconciliations. Provide ad hoc reporting and data support to other departments including Sales, Operations, and Customer Success. Data Collaboration & Governance: Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for financial reporting. Contribute to the development of scalable data models and reporting infrastructure. Continuously assess and improve existing reporting processes or develop new ones to meet evolving business needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting roles. Strong understanding of rebate programs, SLA metrics, and CECL compliance. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization tools. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is preferred. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data querying tools (e.g., SQL). Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience in automating financial reports and building self-service dashboards. Familiarity with financial modeling and scenario analysis. Knowledge of data governance and financial data architecture.
