practice. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. YOUR ROLE
Responsibilities
include but not limited to: Create an extraordinary employee experience for our Advisory & National Tax team members by serving as a trusted business partner to ensure HR strategies are aligned to support the business strategies and objectives Establish thorough understanding of the business, build and expand relationships with client leadership teams, and create close partnerships across P&C, and Centers of Expertise (COEs) Build strong relationships with clients to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness and understanding of the employee experience Bring forth to the COEs the voice of the Advisory & National Tax team members and partner with the COEs to bring solutions Provide end-to-end onboarding and offboarding support to include facilitating New Employee Orientation and conducting exit interviews Partner with Talent Acquisition and to drive and implement the recruiting strategy in the business; participate in interviews; identify interviewing team for key roles within the Advisory & National Tax businesses. Under the direction of P&C Managers/Senior Managers, handle moderately complex employee relations matters; support more complex employee relations issues with guidance and direction and following the established protocols and processes that the firm requires. Show appropriate judgement in identifying/determining when to escalate issues to others. Partner with Talent Management Process COE on various programs and initiatives and implement for the Advisory & National Tax team members Help maintain and manage the People & Culture headcount and budget for Advisory & National Tax businesses through our financial planning tools. Responsible for helping to administer compensation program, under guidance from the Total Rewards COE, and the People & Culture team supporting the Advisory & National Tax businesses. Lead and coordinate the annual performance review cycle in support of the Firm’s performance management program and expectations. The People & Culture Senior Specialist will provide coaching and guidance regarding HR in areas such as policy and procedure while developing trusting relationships with leadership and employees within their assigned client groups Provide input on Firm-wide initiatives and help to coordinate and/or participate in activities Contribute to projects and process improvements as needed, particularly in using data to tell the talent story and to support talent actions and decisions. Role model the behaviors that the firm values (Pyramid Values), including leadership at every level. Your Experience
The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field required, PHR/SHRM-CP highly preferred Minimum 3-4 years of HR generalist experience with progressive experience; professional services industry experience preferred; Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with leadership and employees and with the larger P&C team Ability to effectively manage change, being flexible and adaptable as required by the business Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills Excellent MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability handle and document sensitive situations. Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge Strong analytical skills to identify business trends and drive initiatives. Data analysis skills - demonstrated strength in turning data into insights that support actions/activities that will address business needs. Preferred Qualifications
