Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join a growing CPA firm in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, planning, and compliance for individuals and businesses.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Provide tax planning advice to clients
Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies
Mentor and supervise junior staff members
Stay current with federal and Georgia state tax laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)
CPA license required
3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, UltraTax)
Strong knowledge of federal and Georgia state tax laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
