Annual Bonus The Financial Analyst is responsible analysis of financial operations, with a strong focus on monthly general ledger closings related to sales, cost of sales, operating expenses, and profit margins. This role plays a critical part in preparing, analyzing, and reporting financial data, including cost standards, financial statements, and key balance sheet accounts, to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, summarize, and report on financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business trends for operating divisions and corporate shared services. Understand business processes and collaborate across departments to gather, configure, and interpret financial data into actionable insights. Provide analytical support and financial modeling to aid management in evaluating alternatives, making data-driven decisions, and understanding the financial impact of various strategies. Lead and perform monthly financial close activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts with accurate, timely financial data. Participate in cross-functional projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested by leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance MBA or CPA is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems such as Business Central or Oracle). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
