Overview
We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Finance Manager to join our growing team. You’ll work directly with and report to the CFO of Padel Haus, while collaborating with our external accountants to keep the financial engine running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the chance to grow into a senior finance leader, while still mastering the fundamentals. Day-to-day Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure accurate and timely payments. Coordinate payroll and employee expense reimbursements. Oversee vendor contracts and maintain compliance with agreed terms. Monitor bank accounts, cash balances, and credit card usage. Accounting & Compliance Partner with our accountants on monthly closes, reconciliations, and annual audits. Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and contracts. Support the preparation and filing of tax forms and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws across multiple states. Budgeting & Reporting Lead the budgeting and forecasting process; track actuals vs. budget. Create clear dashboards and financial reports for leadership and investors. Provide variance analysis and recommendations for cost savings or efficiency improvements. Contribute to quarterly investor updates and board presentations. Strategic & Project Support Assist with new market launches, including lease reviews, buildout budgeting, and operational setup. Support fundraising activities by preparing data rooms, financial models, and diligence materials. Analyze business unit profitability (e.g., memberships, F&B, retail) and recommend optimizations. Evaluate financing options, vendor bids, and partnership contracts. Process & Systems Improvement Implement financial controls and approval workflows to safeguard assets. Research and roll out new software/tools (e.g., AP automation, reporting dashboards). Streamline existing processes to reduce manual work and improve accuracy. Document finance policies and procedures to support scale. Who You Are
2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Solid grounding in GAAP and basic tax compliance. Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable with QuickBooks (or similar). Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits, but also able to zoom out and provide insights. Resourceful, curious, and eager to work closely with a CFO in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Why Join Us
