Overview
Accounting Manager - Senior Accountant - Sr. Accountant with Month-End Close, Reconciliations, Inventory, AR, and Fixed Assets responsibilities. This role is a hands-on Accounting Manager position at a fast-paced, private equity-backed company. You will work directly with leadership and help drive process improvements in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Own key areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
Prepare and maintain amortization schedules, rebate accounting, and other accruals
Reconcile prepaids, fixed assets, and support AR deductions tracking and resolution
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Provide support to internal stakeholders and be a resource for GAAP accounting questions
Identify opportunities to streamline and reduce the close cycle
Partner with the Controller on improving systems and internal controls
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
6+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of GL and inventory accounting
CPA is a plus (active CPA on the team)
Advanced Excel skills
