Senior Financial Analyst
to join our Corporate FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of an iconic global brand through strategic forecasting, business partnering, and high-impact analysis. You’ll work cross-functionally with product development, R&D, IT, HR, and legal teams, while gaining visibility with our executive leadership and private equity partners. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Global Support Hub in Rosemont, IL. – Monday and Friday are remote, Tuesday through Thursday are in-office collaboration days. Lead Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting: Lead quarterly and annual financial forecasts (e.g., 3+9, 6+6, AOP) across global regions, with a focus on OPEX—providing high visibility into business performance and priorities Consolidate FP&A outputs into clear, executive-level financial packages and presentations (ELT, Board, and private equity) Maintain accuracy and completeness of Longview financial data (actuals, forecast, FX rates, etc.) Translate actuals and forecasts into meaningful insights that inform decision-making and drive accountability Track and report on key financial metrics, including revenue, contribution margin, OPEX, and EBITDA Partner Across The Business
Act as the primary FP&A partner for Product Development, R&D, IT, HR, and Legal Financial modeling of new product ROI and profitability Budget management for spending and capital investments Build trusted relationships with business leaders and help them understand and manage their financial performance Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate results and provide timely insights on performance drivers Own Acquisition Requests (AR)
Own the corporate AR process for capital and non-headcount expenses, ensuring timely approval workflows, clean documentation, and alignment to budget targets Support business leaders in building financially sound business cases that drive strategic investments Drive Strategic Projects And Analysis
Lead or support high-impact initiatives that require structured financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking Conduct regional and functional profitability analysis to identify key drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement Improve Systems & Processes
Continuously improve forecasting and reporting workflows by partnering with RevOps, IT, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders Enhance reporting capabilities in Power BI, Longview, Oracle, and Excel to increase automation, accuracy, and impact Develop and maintain user-friendly templates for budget submissions and executive reporting Support Executives With Insights
Craft clear, concise, and compelling financial narratives for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders Present insights with confidence and clarity, helping executives focus on what matters most Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to influence strategic decision-making What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our Senior Financial Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consulting Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ideally within a mid-to-large corporate environment Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence business decisions through thoughtful analysis Advanced Excel skills are essential – certification is a plus; proficiency in financial systems such as Longview, Oracle, and Power BI are a plus Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to focus on the bigger picture and key business drivers Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong process improvement mindset, constantly looking for ways to increase accuracy, efficiency, and impact Self-driven with a learning mindset, open to feedback, quick to adapt, and motivated to grow Critical thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we think customer first, play as one team, and raise the bar on fitness innovation — in the gym and in every corner of our facilities. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $78,800 - $114,200 annually. The actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflects a primary work location of Rosemont, IL; actual salary may vary for other locations. This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s annual Manager Incentive Plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The bonus amount varies based on company and individual performance goals and is subject to the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Life Fitness / Hammer Strength offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members, including a 401(k) with 4% employer match, medical/dental/vision, leaves of absence, paid time off, holidays, paid vacation, paid sick leave, disability coverage, health savings accounts, life insurance, and other assistance programs.
