We are seeking a Vice President, Real Estate Funds to join our Real Estate Accounting Team. This hybrid role is based in Lake Mary, FL, or Los Angeles, CA, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
In this role, you'll make an impact by:
Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for assigned portfolios.
Constructing and leading training sessions on topics such as accounting for complex deal structures and record keeping within systems.
Ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Providing guidance and review to junior team members on methodologies and work quality.
Interacting with clients to answer questions and resolve complex issues related to fund reports and accounting processes.
Assisting with internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience, with prior financial services experience preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
Experience with public accounting preferred.
Prior experience with YARDI software is desirable.

Benefits and Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $150,000, determined based on experience and location. Compensation may also include bonuses, incentives, and benefits. The position is at-will, with the company reserving the right to modify compensation and terms at any time.
