offers a 12- to 18-month leadership training program designed to mold you into a future Supervisor within our company. This opportunity is based at our Tacoma, Washington manufacturing plant. MITER Brands is a leading force in residential window and door manufacturing, with brands including Milgard and MI Windows & Doors. We are one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with manufacturing plants nationwide. Responsibilities
Holistic Exposure: Dive into Production, Quality, Tooling, Safety, Maintenance, Distribution, Continuous Improvement (CI), Materials, and HR to gain deep insights into the business and learn to lead with confidence. Leadership Development: Develop skills to lead a team through coaching, mentoring, training, and fostering team member relations. Impactful Change: Drive improvements in KPIs such as Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), Cost, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Communication Mastery: Communicate effectively with business leaders. Lean Manufacturing: Learn, develop, and implement lean manufacturing tools to propel improvements. Soft Skills: Enhance public speaking and presentation skills and cultivate your leadership voice. Qualifications
Flexibility & Commitment: Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs, including swing and graveyard shifts. Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 3+ years in manufacturing. Shift Versatility: Willingness to work any shift (including nights, weekends, and 8-12 hour shifts) after program completion. Team & Independent Work: Ability to work both independently and in a team in a high-growth environment. Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail. Tech Proficiency: Proficient with MS Office Suite. Communication Excellence: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. About Us & Benefits
