Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter
for our Midwest Region to assist in the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers, through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy. The Underwriter will work with assigned agents in meeting profitability and production goals, by following guidelines and establishing business relationships, along with managing the pricing and underwriting of an assigned territory of business. The ideal candidate will have commercial lines underwriting experience and strong agency relationships in the Midwest states. This position will work a hybrid schedule in our Carmel, IN office. Responsibilities
Underwrite commercial lines for an assigned territory in the Midwest, in accordance with company policy and guidelines. Collaborate with assigned agents to meet profitability and production goals. Manage pricing and underwriting decisions for the assigned territory. Develop and maintain strong agency relationships within the Midwest states. Qualifications
Required: Commercial lines underwriting experience and strong agency relationships in the Midwest states. Ability to work in a hybrid schedule at our Carmel, IN location. Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $83,081-$127,946 annually. This range is an estimate; actual salary varies based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
