Senior Manager, Nuclear Safety Culture & Employee Concerns Program to lead and oversee initiatives that foster a strong safety culture and a robust employee concerns program. Reports to the Senior Vice President of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. This role ensures TerraPower maintains high safety standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. On-site presence is required to engage with teams across TerraPower’s laboratories, facilities, and offices. Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of TerraPower’s Nuclear Safety Culture (NSC) Program and Employee Concerns Program (ECP). Serve as the primary point of contact for nuclear safety culture and employee concerns, ensuring a transparent, responsive, and supportive process. Establish and maintain processes for confidential reporting, tracking, and resolution of nuclear safety culture concerns and ECP program concerns. Collaborate with senior leadership to embed INPO Traits of a Healthy Nuclear Safety Culture into operational and organizational practices. Conduct safety culture assessments, surveys, and independent reviews to gauge effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide training and awareness programs for employees at all levels on nuclear safety culture and employee concerns processes. Interface with regulatory bodies, industry peers, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with NRC, DOE, and other applicable regulations. Develop and deliver reports, presentations, and briefings on program effectiveness, trends, and key issues to leadership and governing bodies. Work with HR, legal, compliance, and safety teams to resolve concerns in an equitable and timely manner. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nuclear safety culture and employee engagement. Manage daily operations and staff, ensuring resources are allocated based on project, state, and federal requirements. Foster a positive work atmosphere and strong stakeholder relations. Identify gaps in training content and use metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Research and develop new techniques to enhance program effectiveness. Travel to TerraPower locations for on-site observation and consulting on program matters. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications and Skills

4-year degree or higher in engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience. 15-20 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry. 10 years of experience in project management. 10 years of experience in the NRC allegation process. 5 years of experience leading a team. 10+ years of Nuclear Safety Culture and/or ECP experience. 15 years’ experience working with federal regulators; experience with regulatory compliance. Proficient planning and execution skills for meeting regulatory and operational requirements. Excellent skills in investigations and incident analysis. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Deep understanding of NRC regulations, DOE guidelines, INPO safety culture principles, and nuclear safety best practices. High degree of trust and integrity, with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Experience working with federal regulators. Job Functions

Salary Range Level 12: $169,922 - $235,464 Note: Salaries are posted within a range appropriate to Washington State, based on market data and candidate qualifications. Benefits
