is focused on acquiring, growing, and retaining large, more complex commercial relationships while cross selling the Bank's other business lines through a focused and structured client-focused business development plan. Key measures of success include net new loan and deposit growth, fee income, referrals to other lines of business, and portfolio management including asset quality. Responsibilities
Establishes and negotiates the terms under which large commercial credit will be extended, including cost, risk and profitability, and determining the method, schedule and collateral requirements. Reviews and analyzes complex financial information to determine a borrower’s creditworthiness. Presents recommendations to the loan committee and demonstrates a deep understanding of credits presented. Responsible for the profitability of all commercial relationships within the portfolio. Monitors loan repayment activities, collection of past due accounts, and credit and collateral deficiencies. Adheres to loan policies and procedures with complete documented files to ensure satisfactory reviews from internal and external audits. Actively cross-sells other Bank products, including commercial products, treasury management, and wealth management services to build deep banking relationships. Sets and achieves individual goals and contributes in a team-oriented environment to ensure department and Bank goals are met. Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training. Presents others duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, preferred. 10+ years’ experience in a commercial lending role, required. Prior experience in lending and/or credit, preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of commercial banking and ability to analyze financial information. Ability to exercise sound judgment when establishing and maintaining relationships. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, contracts, and credit and financial documents. Seniorities
