Market Risk Analyst – Energy Trading

What You’ll Do
Deliver forward-looking, independent assessments of market risk across complex energy portfolios—both quantitative and qualitative.
Use advanced tools to monitor risk exposure daily, including position changes, market shifts, and Value at Risk (VaR).
Lead and present at weekly risk meetings with senior stakeholders, including traders, risk leadership, and middle office.
Provide strategic input on structured transactions, identifying potential market and liquidity risks.
Collaborate with a global risk team on evolving methodologies, stress testing, and infrastructure improvements.
What You Bring
Deep expertise in market risk within U.S. gas and power trading.
A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge, influence, and add value to a fast-paced trading environment.
Strong communication skills to engage across global teams—risk managers, traders, technology partners, and controllers.
Familiarity with Endur, SQL, Tableau, and Python is a plus.
