Job Description
Job Summary:
Develops, implements, and maintains cost accounting systems. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Collects data, allocates costs, and prepares reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assemblies, or other operating expenses, following established procedures. Prepares variance reports and may perform analysis and prepare special reports for managerial review. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Review monthly variances and understand their cost impact. Perform inventory valuations, reconciliations, and reporting. Determine monthly warranty reserves. Analyze and report on E&O material. Perform month-end account reconciliation and journal entries. Assist with SOX 404 compliance and audits. Manage service order financial data, monitor status, correct accounting structures, and process month-end financial reconciliations. Assist with fixed assets management. Support general accounting functions as required. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. General accounting experience preferred; cost accounting experience is a plus. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in MS Excel required. Experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus; SAP knowledge is advantageous. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
