Overview
We’re excited to bring on a Senior Associate Actuary, Life & MoneyGuard Pricing to play an integral role in pricing & analyzing Lincoln’s hybrid Long Term Care portfolio of products. You will direct, develop and perform complex actuarial analysis to drive pricing decisions that meet diverse sets of profitability, risk and sales goals. Responsibilities
Build & maintain pricing models in MG-ALFA to conduct pricing & financial analysis for Lincoln’s hybrid Long Term Care products
Provide pricing analysis for both existing products & to evaluate feasibility of new products or features to support market expansion
Analyze risk & summarize key findings for senior leaders to drive strategic pricing strategies
Collaborate with other areas including ERM, valuation, product & inforce management to ensure pricing strategies meet all profitability, risk, and sales targets
Partner with the Centralized Pricing Model (CPM) and Quality of New Business (QNB) teams to validate & improve upon pricing models
Provide actuarial support for state product filings & objections, including development of LTC rates & loss ratios
Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in actuarial science that aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
FSA designation or ASA designation with additional years of actuarial experience
Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience; educational concentration in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or Statistics is preferred
Nice-to-haves
MG-ALFA experience
LTC product knowledge, including hybrid LTC
Life insurance product knowledge including variable universal life and universal life

The pay range for this position is $108,501 - $195,900 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range
and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
