Overview
Accounts Payable Specialist – 33432. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing payments owed by the organization to suppliers and other creditors. This role ensures that all invoices and expense reports are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and adhering to company policies. Base pay range
$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr Compensation:
$22-$25/hr DOE Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and input invoices, matching them to purchase orders and receipts. Vendor Payments: Process payments (checks, ACH, wires), ensure timely disbursements, and address vendor inquiries. Expense Reports: Audit and process employee expense reports per company policies. Reconciliations: Reconcile transactions, vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Benefits (for eligible contract employees)
Must be a full-time employee (30+ weekly hours / 130+ hours per month) to be eligible Medical plan offered is BCBSNC Blue Options PPO Premiums will be pre-taxed Sherpa pays a portion of the Employee-only premium for medical 90 day waiting period from date of hire Medical, Dental, and Vision plans About Our Process
