Energix Renewables is seeking an experienced Senior Funds Accountant to join our Energix US Finance team; if you have the experience and can-do attitude, we invite you to help us make the world greener and to take part in our hyper-growth process. The Senior Accountant will be based in our Arlington, Virginia headquarters. This role will be reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities
Manage GL book, consolidation and financial reporting for all corporate legal entities in Energix US Group. Complete GL ownership for Energix US developer entities/ O&M entity/ construction entity, including month-end/ quarter-end close, GL integrity, trial balance reconciliation, etc. Responsible for production and presentation of the timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/ annual US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting packages and supplemental information, compliant to Lenders and Parent reporting requirements. Analyze financial data to identify and report on trends and key performance indicators, including analysis of the actual results vs prior periods and vs budget. Works closely with the commercial, construction and operations teams to collaborate on various reporting needs, gather, summarize and generate relevant financial information. In charge of Oracle Fusion Fixed Asset module activities including fixed asset addition, depreciation and write off activities. Facilitate accounts payable process including purchase order and invoice creation; expense report and credit card approval, ensuring proper documentation and approvals from the Management. Facilitate accounts receivable process including invoicing to external/ internal customers and journal entry booking. Understand major contracts in the corporate legal entities and their implications on accounting and financial reporting, supporting accounting research and technical memos preparation for the significant transactions within the corporate entities. Facilitate external audits for timely submission of requested audit deliverables and drafting footnotes to the annual financial statements, supporting quarterly audit reviews, tax return filings, etc. Be an integral part of the company\'s ERP implementation/ improvement process. Other ad hoc tasks. Qualifications & Skills
Experienced and curious senior accountant with at least 3-4 years of experience. Independent, discrete, detail-oriented, and a team player. Excellent organization skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, with a positive and can-do attitude. Experience working at a multinational company preferred. Experience with integrated ERP solutions (Oracle Fusion) preferred. CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance or relevant field Experience in the field of renewable energy is a plus. Energix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
