A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate to join its team in Minneapolis, MN. This position offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to contribute to a growing team focused on intellectual property litigation, trademarks, and patents.
Duties
Prepare and prosecute patent applications. Conduct due diligence for intellectual property matters. Collaborate with team members on litigation and trademark issues. Provide strategic advice to clients on intellectual property rights. Requirements
Two to four years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Admitted in good standing to a state Bar and the USPTO. Education
Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar engineering, or computer science. Certifications
Admission to a state Bar. USPTO registration. Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Paid time off. Performance bonuses.
