Overview
Digital Navigation Corps provides digital job readiness skills and creates pathways of economic opportunities for adults 16 years and older from low-income and historically under-invested communities. Digital Navigation Corps is a program of Literacy Minnesota, an organization that connects people to transformative learning, sparks innovation in literacy and mobilizes change. Literacy Minnesota envisions a future where literacy eliminates injustices and strengthens communities. The literacy work that began 50 years ago in Minnesota is now nationwide, providing curriculum, classes, workshops and research to partners and learners. Digital Navigation Corps is Literacy Minnesota's response to the digital skills-gap that impacts communities across the country. Built on a longstanding tradition of service, and pioneering the newest resource in digital learning, Digital Navigators to work alongside community members who are striving to reach their professional goals. Digital Navigators will support community members through one-to-one mentorship, classroom-based instruction, and resource guide creation and referrals. Program Details

Members earn $1002 every two weeks. Deadline:

Digital Navigators will conduct program participant intakes, design individualized Digital Development Plans, and provide digital literacy instruction at host sites. They will support program participant certification through one-to-one mentorship and group tutoring using Northstar Digital Literacy. They will update or create digital resource guides and make referrals to program participants based on participant intake self-identified goals. They will evaluate program effectiveness through post-participation follow-up surveys that track (1) participants\' increased confidence in digital literacy skills and (2) employment gains. Members will serve in-person at their host site. Qualifications
