The position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position for fall and spring semesters, with the possibility of summer school and online teaching. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but may include some evening classes, independent studies, as well as some online responsibilities. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events. Position Description

Responsibilities include creating and offering classroom and laboratory-based courses within the Construction Management degree program. Engage in appropriate scholarship in Construction Management or a related field. Assist the program Chair in the program accreditation process. Advise students and serve on various university committees. Teaching duties include undergraduate teaching in Construction Management courses and other areas of competency. Teaching responsibilities may include both on-site and online delivery methods. Qualifications

Strong commitment to undergraduate Construction Management education with an emphasis on hands-on instruction and practical application. Ability to teach a wide range of courses within the Construction Management program; broad experience and skills are desired. Master’s or PhD degree in Construction Management, engineering, business, or construction-related field from an accredited program. Professional experience in Construction Management is highly desired but not required. Certification and/or licensure within Construction Management, Construction, or Engineering related fields will be considered but are not required. Candidates from broad backgrounds are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on potential as instructors and mentors in an undergraduate program.
