Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Providing EHS compliance and performance management services, such as audits and reviews (multi-media) of compliance and performance management programs and development and implementation of EHS management systems. Developing compliance documents and permit applications associated with the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), and other regulatory programs. Providing litigation and regulatory enforcement support services, including hazardous waste and hazardous materials management. Supporting projects involving due diligence including ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Based on your current level of experience, you may be asked to take on task-level or project management responsibilities, along with business development, and staff mentoring tasks. Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science (geology or hydrology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. (required) Advanced degree in geology or environmental engineering. (preferred) Professional registration (i.e., PE, PG). (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in an EHS consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) Project experience involving EHS regulatory compliance, historical research, and environmental assessment. (preferred) Experience working on demanding, sophisticated, and legally-sensitive projects. (preferred) Detailed regulatory knowledge, especially CAA, CWA, RCRA and EPCRA. (preferred) Excellent writing and communication skills. (required) Regular fieldwork and overnight travel. (required) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. The typical base salary range for this position is $71,330/year to $110,940/year (Colorado Springs, CO) or $74,900/year to $116,485/year (Lakewood, Greenwood Village, Broomfield, CO).
