Open Rank, Finance - Academic General Faculty (AGF, non-tenure track) appointment in Finance at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, to begin Fall 2026. For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Darden School is recruiting in the areas of Analytics and Decision Sciences, Finance, Technology and Operations Management, and Strategy, Entrepreneurship, & Ethics. We seek faculty who stand out with respect to teaching potential in all areas of study in finance. Responsibilities include teaching in a student-centered environment and developing curriculum materials for internal and external use. AGF faculty are expected to contribute as leaders to Darden and to the broader academic community, engage with practicing managers, and bring either outstanding teaching, high visibility and effectiveness with practitioners, or a noteworthy research niche. Qualifications
Master's degree required; terminal degree preferred. Applicants must be capable of teaching in a student-centered environment and engage with practicing managers. Candidates should uphold Darden community values and demonstrate potential to influence teaching and scholarship in finance. Application Instructions
