Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our Special Education team and perform meaningful work in a culture that welcomes innovation and collaboration. Starting salary is $95,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience. Travel Requirement: Up to 50%–70% to maintain on-site presence at campuses within the assigned region. Responsibilities

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for designated schools to identify causes and functions of students’ challenging behaviors. Create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with ChanceLight standards and district guidelines. Develop measurable IEP goals and monitor progress with on-site instructional personnel. Implement evidence-based behavioral and educational interventions to promote positive outcomes in academics, social, emotional, and independent functioning. Provide crisis management support for students with aggressive or self-injurious behavior and reduce 1:1 staffing needs where possible. Collaborate with on-site education teams to collect and analyze behavior data, monitor progress, and ensure timely intervention responses. Conduct regular quality checks at campuses within the region and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Deliver on-site training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and related topics to support on-site teams. Provide guidance and supervision to staff pursuing BACB credentials (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA) as agreed with leadership. Assist in developing and implementing improvement plans for campuses to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to comprehensive support strategies. Ensure adherence of campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral services. Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities. Provide operational support to schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff development, and retention. Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational success. Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or a closely related field. Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a BCBA credential. Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management training. Licensed or in process for a special education credential preferred. Valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Experience and/or strong knowledge in ABA techniques, including FBA and BIP, in educational settings. Experience in providing training, professional development, or coaching to teachers and education staff. Ability to work with individuals with severe learning, emotional/behavioral disorders and autism spectrum disorders in a special education setting. Track record of developing and implementing effective treatment plans for diverse student needs. Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and have productive conversations with students, families, and staff. Ability to build relationships with students, parents, teachers, and community/district partners. Ability to think quickly and calmly in emergencies and make independent decisions. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; proficient with technology including Microsoft Office and data management tools. About ChanceLight
