The Manager, Catering Sales is responsible for driving catering sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling catering services. This role requires advanced knowledge of catering sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events. This position requires a dynamic individual with communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences. Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization. Advanced leadership skills with team building/development experience, fostering partnerships. Exceptional problem solving/decision making and organizational abilities. Financial management, analytical and planning skills. Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Computer knowledge for basic office functions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs) as necessary to operate. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Previous Experience
Minimum 4 years catering sales, operations and/or event planning management in off-site catering, hotel or cultural attraction catering venue preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience required; candidates with 6+ years will be given stronger consideration. Working knowledge of Tripleseat is a plus. All education backgrounds eligible; must be 18 or older. Key Responsibilities
Catering Sales Strategies: Negotiate contracts, accompany venue sales tours, conduct tastings, and develop strategies to sell and upsell catering services. Client Relationship Management: Manage contracts and BEOs, maintain strong client relationships, communicate throughout the process, collaborate with venue and operations teams, and conduct post-event follow-ups. Vendor and Resource Management: Maintain vendor communication and pricing knowledge; keep an active resource list. Event Coordination: Inspect spaces, manage last-minute changes, and ensure flawless event execution with cross-department collaboration. Operational Excellence: Document contracts and event details; ensure compliance with laws; maintain a safe, organized work environment. Financial Management: Process payments, meet budgets, analyze sales and inventory, and ensure profitability. Reporting and Analysis: Report sales via Tripleseat; analyze trends and feedback to improve performance. Social Responsibility: Promote inclusivity and sustainability; engage with SSA and the community. Other Responsibilities
