Connext Post & Beam is seeking a resourceful, entrepreneurial team member to play a critical role in managing client relationships, supporting operations, and contributing to growth initiatives. This is not a pure sales role—it’s a hybrid position at the intersection of customer success, project management, and business development.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, small business environment, wears many hats, and brings enough industry understanding (post and beam, timber framing, or construction) to speak confidently with clients and builders.
They’ll take ownership of client communications, help manage day-to-day operational needs, assist with estimates and product fit, and contribute to internal projects that support scale. Over time, they may grow into a leadership role within the company.
Key Attributes & Skills:
Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build the business Strong communication and relationship management skills Background in timber framing, post and beam, or custom residential construction Familiarity with reading building plans is helpful, but not required Organized, reliable, and proactive with follow-through Comfortable managing client requests, estimates, timelines, and expectations Tech-savvy; able to use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) spreadsheets, and cloud-based workflows Willing to take direction but also contribute creatively to problem-solving
Location:
NY or CT strongly preferred. Must be available to visit the Terryville, CT shop occasionally. Remote/hybrid acceptable for the right candidate.
