Public Relations Senior Account Executive
Overview
Senior Account Executives play a vital role in account management and support for our commercial real estate and B2B clients. We’re looking for someone with strong client management, written and verbal communication skills and media relations experience who is driven to learn, and shares our passion for making a difference for our clients, our communities, and our fellow team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
3 - 5 years of public relations experience. Commercial real estate and B2B PR experience is a plus.
The ability to build and nurture relationships with media and clients
Experience developing and pitching story ideas to media contacts
Strong aptitude for writing press releases, pitches, and media relations skills
The ability to handle the logistics of media interviews
Excellent client relations skills and service ethic
Experience in video and social media content creation
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and projects.
Can work both autonomously and in a group
A college degree in a related PR/Communications field with previous agency experience
Experience with Muck Rack, Google Analytics and HubSpot is a plus
Responsibilities
Serves as the main contact for clients managing day-to-day account activities
PR planning, strategy and execution
Media relations including researching and identifying newsworthy topics for media pitches, media advisories/alerts and thought leadership content that highlights our clients and their services
Drafting written content including press releases, pitches/media alerts blog posts, bylined articles social/digital media content, newsletters, website copy, marketing copy, fact sheets, messaging, etc.
Account/client management
Development and management of junior staff
