Hunton’s Richmond office seeks an experienced insurance coverage lawyer for a full-time, partnership-track associate position to join the Insurance Coverage practice group. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years (class of 2022 – class of 2020) of insurance coverage experience representing policyholders or insurers, as well as litigation experience. Candidates must possess excellent analytical and writing skills, be familiar with first- and third-party insurance policies and the principles of insurance policy interpretation, demonstrate leadership and initiative, and be comfortable working directly with clients and colleagues. Applicants should have a strong academic record, be willing to work on pro bono matters, and be focused on client service. This position can be filled in our Boston, Miami, Richmond or Washington, DC offices. Candidates licensed in the jurisdiction to which they are applying is preferred and, in any event, required within one year of joining the firm.
