AmeriServ Financial Bank . Originate residential mortgage and home equity loans in support of department and organizational goals. Keep fully informed on mortgage related policies, procedures, and regulations along with industry trends and developments in the real estate market. Responsibilities
Originate, develop, and complete residential mortgage and home equity loan applications at a time and location convenient to the borrower. Follow up on all conditions in order to effectively meet contract deadlines, and lock expiration dates. Keep borrowers and all third parties aware of the status and progress of the loan. Build varied sources of referrals, including but not limited to realtors, builders, attorneys, settlement companies, accountants, and other centers of influence. Build and maintain relationships with AmeriServ personnel (Retail, Commercial, Trust, etc.). Participate in the execution of the Residential Mortgage Departmental Plan by assisting in meeting or exceeding all individual, department, and corporate production and budget goals. Support ownership interest of Bankers Settlement of Southwest PA, along with referrals to other divisions within AmeriServ. Keep informed and abreast of current industry trends and developments in the real estate market along with mortgage related policies, procedures, and regulations. Actively participate in civic, business, and other community related activities, which provide business development opportunities. Pro-actively seek out opportunities that support the Bank in meeting its CRA responsibilities. Minimum High School graduate with related experience in mortgage lending with a minimum of three (3) years combined experience in residential mortgage loan originations, loan processing, underwriting, secondary marketing, real estate sales, leasing, commercial lending, or consumer lending is preferred.
