Overview
FY26 Seasonal Tax-FSO- GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory-Real Estate-Senior Manager role at EY. Location: New York or Remote (Anywhere in country). This position supports EY’s Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) practice within the NTD, focusing on financial reporting for income taxes including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing. Responsibilities
Provide tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements, and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts). Assist clients with all aspects of tax provision preparation and review the tax provision process to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the control environment. Assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of, and beyond, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Real estate experience is a plus; work on tax accounting projects and related advisory services. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred. Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership. Minimum 10 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS. Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation; strong analytical and communication skills; attention to detail. Ideal Experience
ASC 740, Real Estate, IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; broad exposure to federal income taxation. Strong ability to lead large engagements, team with and motivate others, and build client relationships. What We Offer
