Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Accounting Manager
to join our team on a
short-term, 4-week contract . This individual will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting during a critical period. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to step in quickly with minimal ramp-up time. Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Manage month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Support preparation of management reports and provide financial insights as needed. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as required. Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed consistently. Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or manager role. Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close procedures. Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.). Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage competing priorities. Strong communication and leadership skills. Duration: 4 weeks (with potential for extension, if needed) Schedule: Full-time, 100% onsite Seniority level
