Overview

The Senior Account Manager/Executive will work with the T5N leadership team to drive and implement a comprehensive territory sales plan and build relationships with key buying influencers covering the full portfolio of Motorola Solutions' products and services for Government and Public Safety in Minnesota. Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola Solutions Proactively develop opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and services Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within and outside of public safety, including Sheriff, Fire Chief, Police Chief, CIO/CTO, Administrator/Manager and other officials, to understand and influence technology and funding priorities Develop strategies to position long-term opportunities for Motorola Solutions Develop Motorola procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged, increasing Motorola’s presence across an entire customer account Qualifications

Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience Technology sales experience and an understanding of communications, video and software solutions Experience selling solutions into government organizations preferred Experience utilizing strategic account management practices and tools Willingness and ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customer executives Knowledge of industry trends and best practices a plus Ability to travel 25-50% Additional Information
