Position Overview
The Southwest Region Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of our Food Service business in the Southwestern region. This role involves engaging with customers at all levels, including local and regional operators and national chains. Responsibilities include sales management, broker management, implementing collaborative selling strategies, and building key relationships. The position reports to the National Food Service Sales Manager. Principal Duties
Proven experience selling in the hospitality industry. Develop and foster relationships with key operators, distributors, regional and national accounts. Conduct annual joint business planning sessions with key stakeholders to strengthen strategic partnerships. Manage, train, and collaborate with Broker Sales Agencies on strategic planning and strategies. Manage marketing and trade spending when appropriate. Assist in collecting open invoices and resolving unauthorized deductions. Explore and develop new distribution channels. Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Collaborate with Finance on receivables and deduction reconciliation. Handle multiple tasks focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives without compromising quality. Provide regular written and verbal reports. Build a peer network and develop a broader understanding of the food service industry. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Experience: Minimum 7 years in the foodservice/hospitality industry. Technical skills: Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau or similar reporting software and Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Valid and safe driving record. Highly organized and proactive problem-solver capable of meeting strict timelines and goals. Ability to travel regularly, including occasional weekends for trade shows and conferences. Hybrid work environment: part remote, part in-office in Dallas. Some in-person meetings or training may be required. Company Overview
