Responsibilities

Develop and manage strategies to grow market share within assigned territory

Lead effective negotiations by identifying options, interests, criteria, and alternatives of each party

Maintain complete and accurate records of customer information and sales activity within Salesforce.com

Collaborate with other lines of business and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) departments to meet customer needs

Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospects through various communication methods

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience

Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in sales, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), LTL, project management, and/or logistics

Proficiency in SPIN selling or other needs-based selling models

Experience with Salesforce.com

Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

6 years of combined experience in sales, 3PL, LTL, project management, and/or logistics

Ability to understand competitor strategies, products, and pricing patterns

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong active listening skills to respond accurately to questions
