Director of Commercial Support

to provide direct support to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in driving the company’s commercial strategy. This individual will play a key role in supporting initiatives related to

sales, customer, and commercial strategic projects , ensuring that all commercial operations run smoothly and effectively.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and exceptional execution skills—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can translate ideas into action.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Planning

Partner with the CCO to develop, refine, and execute commercial strategies and go-to-market plans.

Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with clear timelines, deliverables, and accountability and follow up and follow through with key stakeholders.

Monitor progress on key commercial objectives and proactively surface insights and recommendations and support tracking process.

Executive & Operational Support

Act as a trusted partner and proxy for the CCO in meetings, follow-ups, and cross-functional forums.

Prepare materials for executive meetings, customer engagements, strategic partnerships, and internal communications.

Coordinate and manage the CCO’s leadership team meetings, offsites, and quarterly business reviews, ensuring agendas are strategic and follow-ups are executed.

Lead or oversee CCO leadership communications, ensuring alignment and engagement across distributed teams.

Cross-Functional Commercial Leadership

Drive alignment between Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Resource Planning, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive commercial execution.

Coordinate special projects, strategic deals, or market initiatives that require input across multiple teams.

Identify bottlenecks in commercial workflows and collaborate with functional leaders to implement improvements.

Serve as a central hub for communication, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging across the commercial organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

(Master’s degree preferred).

5+ years of experience

in a commercial, strategy, or business support role—preferably within aviation, transportation, or a service-based industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; skilled in creating compelling presentations.

Highly proficient in

Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) ; familiarity with CRM or proposal tools is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Location & Compensation Location: Atlanta, GA

Compensation: $100,000 - $229,000
