Charlotte, NC Job Overview: An international law firm with a prominent presence in the financial services sector is looking to expand its transactional team in Charlotte, NC. This position is suited for a mid-level associate with specialized experience in fund finance and complex lending transactions. The role offers hands-on exposure to a global clientele, including top-tier financial institutions, asset managers, and investment funds. Duties: Negotiate and draft credit facility agreements involving private investment funds and lenders Support transactions related to syndicated loans, structured credit, and subscription line facilities Engage in leveraged lending and NAV-based financings Collaborate with cross-functional teams on asset-based and acquisition finance transactions Conduct legal due diligence and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Communicate directly with clients, delivering strategic and commercially sound legal solutions Participate in the mentorship and development of junior associates, when needed Requirements: 3-6 years of experience in fund finance or related banking/finance transactions Background in at least one of the following: commercial lending, leveraged finance, CLOs, structured finance, or fund formation Proven ability to manage complex transactional matters from start to finish Demonstrated aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the Bar in North Carolina or the ability to obtain promptly Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities Business acumen and the ability to assess risk in a commercial context Familiarity with fund structures and investment vehicle operations Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail, responsiveness, and organizational discipline Job Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Company info DescriptionHumana is a $90 billion (Fortune 40) market leader in integrated healthcare with a clearly defined purpose to help people achieve lifelong well-being.
